Artwork of the Week (page 44) and Clay Prep


  • Dance
  • Messy
  • Artwork painted with coffee or tea
Did you complete your clay notes (page 43)? I'll check them next Thursday. For our clay unit, your Stage One Mask Designs must be complete. I need you to bring: newspapers and plastic garbage bag(s). Because of the drying nature of clay, I recommend bringing lotion for post-class moisturizing of hands.

    painting with coffee sounds interesting,just hope my mom doesent mind if i just take some of the coffee... >_>

    I know it's a bit late for me to post this, but tea will act like a water color. Make it strong, use black tea, use a small amount of water. Maybe go over your work more than one time, but let it dry first. It dries a little darker than it first shows up.
